CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO SERVE ON UNODC’S YouthLED INTEGRITY ADVISORY BOARD 2026-2028 |
Are you passionate about preventing and countering corruption? Do you want to help build a culture of integrity, ethics and accountability in your community and beyond? Are you between 18 and 29 years old and interested in contributing to anti-corruption work at the local, regional or global level?
UNODC is inviting motivated young people from around the world to apply to join the YouthLED Integrity Advisory Board, established under the Global Resource for Anti-Corruption Education and Youth Empowerment (GRACE) Initiative.
Guided by the principle “nothing about us without us”, the YouthLED Board recognizes young people not only as beneficiaries of anti-corruption efforts, but as partners, leaders, innovators, knowledge-holders and contributors. The Board provides a dedicated space for young people to contribute their perspectives, ideas and experiences to UNODC’s work on integrity, ethics and anti-corruption.
YouthLED Board members serve as co-leading partners to UNODC and the GRACE Initiative team, supporting youth engagement in anti-corruption initiatives and helping to strengthen youth-led action against corruption. Their role combines strategic advice, practical contribution and community engagement. Core functions include:
Creating opportunities for young people to participate in anti-corruption efforts
UNODC is now looking for a new group of committed, curious and engaged young people to join the YouthLED Integrity Advisory Board. Applicants do not need to have prior experience with the United Nations. We especially encourage applications from young people with a demonstrated interest in integrity, ethics, peace, justice, anti-corruption, the rule of law, civic engagement, community action, youth networks or related fields.
Selected members will serve a minimum of one year within a two-year mandate, which may be renewed once for a further period of up to two years, for a maximum total service of four years. Members are expected to dedicate approximately three days per month to Board-related activities. This may include participating in meetings, reviewing documents, contributing to specific deliverables, supporting youth-focused events or consultations, and engaging with their own communities to promote youth participation in anti-corruption action. Please note that participation in the Board is voluntary and does not include any financial compensation.
The linked application form asks interested applicants to confirm this commitment and includes questions on motivation, community engagement, networks, familiarity with anti-corruption and the GRACE Initiative’s work and previous UN/UNODC experience.
Applicants must fill the application form below and submit the following:

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 29 years at the time of application and be able to communicate effectively in English, as all activities and communications will be conducted in English. Interested individuals are also encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Terms of the Reference of the Board as well as the Code of Conduct.
UNODC strongly encourages applications from young people of diverse backgrounds, regions, identities and experiences, including those from marginalized or underrepresented communities.
